Yas Queen - a celebration of women in music and the best jazz party band you could ever wish for. This event is in collaboration with the Jazz Music Institute and is a promising start to a series of jazz events at Reload's historical warehouse in Salisbury.
Yas Queen is a six piece band fronted by trained musicians Paula Girvan, Mel Lathouras and Tenille West. They perform a stompin’ set of big band classics and popular jazz standards- interwoven with humorous stage banter and storytelling. Their female leads also have a penchant for Boswell and Andrew Sister-like harmonies- delivered with sass and originality.
